April 2003 BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warfare Systems, Manassas, Va, was awarded a $9,868,588 cooperative agreement, cost-share contract to provide the Radiation Hardened (rad hard) Microprocessors for Space Program. This acquisition seeks to develop rad hard high performance microprocessors under the authority of Title III of the Defense Production Act. The Air Force Research Laboratory is the contracting activity. |
