a phenomena of modernity perhaps as the press would have us believe, even a Blairite modernism ? probably not, more likely the amplified desires of those whose belief in the lives of the mediatized, substitutes for their own dreams. After all it's so much easier to imagine being someone else that changing yourself isn't it ?
