Raytheon Co Network Centric Systems, St.
Petersburg, Fla, is being awarded an $89,695,623 contract
for Navy Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program production
requirements. The contract will support the build of 13 CEC systems,
three planar array antenna assemblies, one stand-alone cooperative engagement
processor, associated spares and data. CEC is a sensor
netting system that significantly improves
battle force anti-air warfare capability by extracting and distributing
sensor-derived information such that the superset of this data is available
to all participating CEC units. The Naval Sea Systems Command is the
contracting activity.
