BAE Systems Applied Technologies,
Rockville, Md, is being awarded a $6,231,347 contract
for technical and engineering services relating to various Naval
Undersea Warfare Center submarine launcher systems
including horizontal weapon launch, vertical missile launch (VLS), and
small device and ancillary launchers. Types of services include: design
& analysis of new & existing submarine weapon systems; logistics
support analyses; investigations of system problems; fabrication, installation
& test of prototype & production hardware on board submarines
& land-based facilities. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division
is the contracting activity.
