Yes--the Zapa are proposing the invention that may not have a name yet--
they feel the modernist ideologies = capitalism / socialism / marxism are
dialectics that are no longer useful in the war against Neo-liberalism.
They are struggling to have the voice of a silenced community become
the virus that sets off movements that try to think outside of what
history as ideologies have stated was the case--that only that
system of ecomonic logic should be followed--it is always harder
to ask people to think outside of what has always been the case--
when Commandante Ramona calls for "intergalatic encounters" it
points to something that is both fiction from the beyond and
and crossing into the unknown without fear--but, it does share with the
Tupac Amaru the need to show that one is willing to fight for
the right to become something other--but for the Zaps--they
would much rather talk the world to Other side--than to shoot it
to the other side--and they will not put their weapons down.
Sub-commandante Marcos has often stated that they would all rather
be partying, kissing, making art, dancing and watching nasty videos--
than to walking around with guns and having to talk to the Evil State
People--but somebody had to do it--Also, the Zaps have never said that
they have the answer to all these problems--that would be up to
the people to think about and decide within a Radical Democracy--
as one Zap said--The people might end up wanting to be HyperCapitalist
or Die Hard Marxist, or TV Models, you can never tell--but at least
they decided what kind of hell they wanted to live with themselves--
